Terms and Conditions

By accessing or using the Ethio Wildlife Tours website (ethiowildlifetours.com) and booking any of our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and customers of Ethio Wildlife Tours, a licensed tour operator registered in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Ethio Wildlife Tours provides guided wildlife tours, cultural expeditions, trekking packages, photography tours, and related travel services across Ethiopia. All services are subject to availability, seasonal conditions, and applicable Ethiopian regulations. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time with reasonable notice. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of services beyond our reasonable control.

All bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed only upon receipt of a deposit as specified at the time of booking. A booking confirmation will be sent to the email address provided. You are responsible for ensuring that all information provided during booking is accurate and complete. Ethio Wildlife Tours is not liable for any issues arising from incorrect information provided by the customer. Bookings made on behalf of a group are the responsibility of the lead traveller, who accepts these terms on behalf of all group members.

A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total tour cost is required to confirm a booking. The remaining balance is due no later than 30 days before the tour departure date. For bookings made within 30 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking. We accept payment via bank transfer, major credit cards, and other methods specified on our website. All prices are quoted in USD unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without notice until a booking is confirmed.

Cancellations must be submitted in writing to info@ethiowildlifetours.com. The following cancellation fees apply: • More than 60 days before departure: Loss of deposit only • 30–60 days before departure: 50% of total tour cost • 15–29 days before departure: 75% of total tour cost • Less than 15 days before departure: 100% of total tour cost (no refund) Ethio Wildlife Tours reserves the right to cancel any tour due to insufficient bookings, safety concerns, force majeure events, or circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, a full refund will be issued or an alternative tour offered.

All travellers are expected to behave respectfully toward local communities, wildlife, and the natural environment. Ethio Wildlife Tours operates under a strict Leave No Trace policy. You are responsible for ensuring you hold valid travel documents, visas, and any required vaccinations for travel to Ethiopia. We are not liable for any costs arising from failure to obtain the necessary documentation. Ethio Wildlife Tours reserves the right to remove any traveller from a tour without refund if their behaviour is deemed dangerous, disruptive, or disrespectful to others, local communities, or wildlife.

Ethio Wildlife Tours acts as an organiser of tours and is not liable for personal injury, illness, death, loss, damage, or additional expenses arising from circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to: acts of God, natural disasters, political unrest, strikes, or changes in government regulations. We strongly recommend that all travellers obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellation, and personal liability before departure. Our total liability to you in connection with any tour shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for that tour.

All content on the Ethio Wildlife Tours website, including text, photographs, videos, logos, and graphics, is the property of Ethio Wildlife Tours or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this website for commercial purposes without prior written consent from Ethio Wildlife Tours.

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms and Conditions by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices regarding the collection and use of your personal information.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Ethio Wildlife Tours reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.
